Dictator parents mean parent have a sole and absolute power
to control their children life. This kind of parent s will arrange everything
for their child from education, friendship, daily routine even hobbies. They
will set their kids future without ask their concern. Even though they have a
good purpose for doing it but sometimes in some cases these kind of treatment
will bring a bad or disadvantages to their children. In this article we will go
through what is the effect of dictator parents and how to solve this problem.
The first thing that we need to remember is most of dictator
parents doing this treatment because
they love their child and they want their kids to received the best in the
future. However by arrange everything will give less freedom of expression for
their kids. These teenager or young adult will became too dependence to their
parents. Just imagine what will happen when their parents die, they will feel
lost and does not know what they should do because usually their parents will
arrange everything for them. Second is in some cases these types of parents
will make their children more rebellious. Maybe some kids can accept to have dictator
parents in their life but some cannot accept it. These teenagers who cannot
accept being “locked in the cage” will try to break free and doing what they
think is right. The worst cases is they will found a fun in drugs, alcohol, or
free sex.
To solve this problem, both parents and kids side need to
have be more understanding and open mind of the opinion. Dictators parents need
to be more open minded and think about their kids want. On the other hand the
children need to become more passion and remember to respect their parent no matter
what. Talk to your parents slowly and
give a reasonable reason, if your parents still cannot accept your opinion then
don’t be angry or mad because sometimes what our parents say is right and remember they have more experience than us.
